Glorious sunshine makes a welcome change to the wet spring!
Sogno Verde's Acclamation colt is observing the visitors.

All mares are pregnant and a beautiful weekend with dear friends!
Everyone enjoyed the Classic weekend at the Curragh in beautifully warm sunshine. What a day for Danehill Dancer and Coolmore Stud, having sired both Guineas winners (Mastercraftsman and Again) as well as the winner of the Gr. 3 Gallinule Stakes Grand Ducal (beating Mr. Oxx\'s Kalanisi gelding Alaivan by a lucky short head!). And of course we must mention the two Group 1 winners owned and bred by Swiss people: Ernst Iten\'s Remember Rose wins the Grand Steeple Chase de Paris in Auteuil and Moyglare Stud\'s Casual Conquest wins the Tattersalls Gold Cup at the Curragh. Sincere congratulations to both parties! We are very happy to report that 10 out of 11 mares are pregnant and the last one, Southey will be scanned at the end of this week. This gives us a cover to conception rate of 1.3 and a pregnancy rate of perhaps 100% which is exceptional. Well done to all involved!
Princess Susie and her lovely Verglas first foal (left and middle) are enjoying the good weather as is the Marju filly out of Khatela (right). And even the dogs are in high spirits!

My dad Richard observing the foals and two of the yearlings are looking lost in big Lawlors field while the Invincible Spirit yearling filly out of Khatela is checking out the rain pond

A visit to Ken Condon\'s yard has shown us nice progression of the Azamour colt ex Third Dimension who has now been named Third Intention. He is being gradually taken along and is going up the Old Vic galop nicely. He is a beautifully balanced but big colt whose future has to be a nice three year old campaign. Just the opposite is the Alhaarth colt ex Sogno Verde (named Bobbyscot) who was unlucky not to win his last start and who will have a quick reappearance next Thursday in Leopardstown which is not an easy target either, as this is a premier track in Ireland and all the races are very competitive. However, his trainer is very keen on the horse.
