UPDATE: Bahceli wins on his first start of the season on 2000 Guineas day!
Bahceli (Mujadil - Miss Shaan) wins his third race on his seasonal reappearance on the day Frankel made racing history winning the English 2000 Guineas from start to finish.

Three winners and one second from four runners to start of 2011! Can it get any better?

It is always a joyful and amazing experience to see the swallows and housemartins returning to their birth place and they certainly brought us good luck yesterday. After Third Intention winning with a polished performance in Cheltenham on Thursday, our attention shifted to the 2yo newcomer Lilbourne Lad. Trained by master trainer Richard Hannon, he went off the odds-on favourite in the 5f Doncaster 2yo maiden race and duly obliged in very good fashion.  This is a fantastic start to our 2011 flat season and it now looks as if Sogno Verde could turn into an outstanding broodmare. To produce two 2yo winners from her first two foals of which the first, Bobbyscot,  was also a stakes placed at two and three, is something that not many mares do. A conditions race is next on the agenda tor Lilbourne Lad, but Royal Ascot has been mentioned by the Hannon Team. However, we take it step by step!

Meanwhile, Sogno Verde's filly by Mastercraftsman is developing beautifully. She is now six week old.
